Influenster Sugar n' Spice VoxBox - First Impressions

Okay, so as some of you know, I'm a member of Influenster. Influenster is a site online where you leave product reviews and answer questions, and every so often if you qualify, they will send you a VoxBox full of goodies for you to try. It's totally free to be a member, but you have to be invited by another member to get involved. I do have 2 invitations left to give out, so if this sounds like something you'd be interested in trying leave me a comment or send me an email at d.hughes221987@gmail.com and I'll get back to you asap. Just make sure to leave "Influenster" in the subject box.
I recently qualified for the Sugar n' Spice VoxBox, and yesterday my mail lady delivered it to my front door. There were several good full size products in this one, and I am pretty pleased. So on to my first impressions of this VoxBox!

Disclaimer: I received these complimentary items from Influenster for testing purposes. All opinions are my own.

And now to the products! I haven't tried any of these yet, so this is just my first impressions of these items. I'll have a more detailed post for each of the products after I've had more time to play with them. Oh, and here's my box opening video to those who are interested.

Sorry the video quality isn't great, but I have to wait until after my daughter is in bed to do videos so the lighting is really bad. :(

But I have pictures, so yay for that!

Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer Total Moisture, $7.99 (USD) for a 6.5 oz can. This is a spray lotion that absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. I did spray a little to see how it smells, and it's rather plain smelling. You can definitely tell it's made with pure oat extract based on smell alone. And what little bit I sprayed did absorb quickly without the greasy residue, so I'm pretty excited to give this one a proper try.

Next we have Nectresse zero calorie sweetener, which is an all natural sugar substitute. You can find this for $6.99 for a 5.9 oz container, or $3.99 for a box of 40 packets. Nectresse is made primarily from the monk fruit and is mixed with other natural sweeteners. I'm going to have to do more research on this product as I don't trust zero calorie sweeteners as they tend to be really bad for you, but this one seems like it might be okay. I'll let you know the details in the follow up review.

And these are Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel Oil Controlling Towelettes, and five $2 off coupons for more Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel products. These sell for $5.99 for a 20-count box. I don't really have issues with oil control, so these aren't something that I'll be using on a day to day basis, but I'm sure they'll be great this summer after a good workout.

This was really the highlight of this VoxBox for me, the Colgate Optic White regimen. This came with a tube of the Colgate Optic White Toothpaste, Mouthwash, and Toothbrush. Each of these items sell for $2.99. And according to the packaging using these products for five days in a row will lead to whiter teeth. I'm going to take that challenge with before and after pictures to see just how well they work. I'm particularly interested in the toothbrush as it has whitening cups and polishing bristles. It's an interesting design that I am eager to try out. I really like getting new toothbrushes, what can I say?

And last, but not least, we have the belVita Breakfast Biscuit. These biscuits are loaded with fiber, B-Vitamins, contain no high fructose corn syrup, and have 18-20 grams of whole grain per 50 gram serving. These sell for $3.69 for a box of 5 packets, each containing 4 biscuits. These are supposed to be quite tasty, and I've heard some very nice things about this product.

And this concludes my opening impressions for the Sugar n' Spice VoxBox from Influenster! I got a lot of great products in this box, and almost all of them were full size. The breakfast biscuit is the only thing that was sample sized. So if you're interested in getting in on this program, drop me a comment or an email and I'll send you an invite. But I only have 2 invites left, so it's a first come first serve kinda thing. But I have products to try and dinner to make, so I've got to leave you here. Til next time!

    1. I am a bit lucky. :)
And so far I'm pretty pleased with the Vaseline Spray and Go, but it's not the best lotion I've ever used. Bummer you can't get it though. :(

    1. That's a good idea. I might have to set aside some of this for a giveaway; I did just hit 100 followers.. Maybe a 150 follower giveaway.

And I've been thinking about doing Birch boxes as well. They look like a ton of fun with all the random cool goodies.
