February Favorites

Well, to get things started in March, I decided to do a post on my February favorites. I've never done a favorites post before, so I would love your feedback in the comments. :)

Disclaimer: I purchased this product with my own funds, I am not being paid or compensated by the company in question. My opinions are entirely my own.

I'm just going to start with my skin care routine for the winter, which consists of Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti Aging Detoxifying Pore Scrub, Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 for dry combination skin, and Clean & Clear Morning Glow Moisturizer.
I really like the Olay cleanser, it's really gentle but is still deep cleaning. And it has these little exfoliates floating around in there to help clean out the pores. Leaves my skin feeling refreshed. Plus, it smells kind of like grapefruit, which is awesome.
I've been in love with the Clinique 3 Step facial care system since I was in high school, but buying all 3 products is pretty expensive. So I decided to use just the clarifying lotion as it is the best product in the system. This stuff is amazing! It keeps my skin really balanced and happy, and shrinks my pores down to nothing.
And the Clean & Clear moisturizer is nice. It's not fabulous, but it moisturizes my skin, doesn't make me break out and smells fantastic. It does brighten the face a little, but really I like it for the scent. It's another very citrus-y smell and I love it.
Here we have Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation in Ivory 2, e.l.f. Studio Contouring Blush and Bronzer Cream, e.l.f. Essentials All Over Cover Stick, Sephora Collection Long Lasting 12HR Wear Eye Liner in Black, and Fresh Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15. And these have all been staples in my everyday makeup routine this past month. This winter, for whatever reason, has left my skin/lips/hair extremely dry so I've been using very light makeup so my skin doesn't get all ticked off.
I've already posted reviews of the e.l.f. Studio Contouring Blush and Bronzer Cream (click here), the e.l.f. Essentials All Over Cover Stick (click here) and the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment (click here). I would like to throw out there that the Fresh Sugar Treatments have kept my lips so happy this winter. And the tinted treatment has just the right pop of color. Totally recommend this one.
I don't ever really talk about the Mary Kay Mineral Powder, but it's really nice. I am a personal lover of loose powders, I know a lot of people don't like them, but I do. A lot. I don't really have complexion issues so I don't need full coverage, and this is perfect to just balance out my skin tone and give me a finished appearance.
The Sephora liner has been my buddy this month. I have been so into winged liner and I love the amount of precision alloted me by liquid liner. And this liner isn't super expensive, it works really well, and it lasts for quite some time.
And I'm ending this one with a random cute picture of one of my kitties. We call him the Dude and he's super sweet, albeit a little dumb. And yeah, he's cute. :)
Hope you guys enjoyed my February favorites. I'd love to hear about your favorite products of the month, and if you've tried any of these products I'd love to hear what you think about them. Or you could talk about my cat. I don't know. What I'm saying here is I love your comments. And I've been getting a lot of comments and new followers lately and I really appreciate each and every one of you!! Hope you guys have a wonderful Saturday. Til next time!

  1. That Olay Scrub sounds pretty good, and I haven't tried it yet, so I think I'll give it a try. Thanks for the reviews. =0)

  2. Sephora eyeliner is the best! Does the Morning Glow moisturiser have a tint?

    1. The morning Glow moisturizer does not have a tint, but it has some like super finely milled shimmer in it. It doesn't look shimmery on the face though, all the little bits of shimmer just kind of catch the light to make your face look bright and healthy.
Thanks for the comment! Hope you had a lovely weekend. :)
