I ended up doing the same basic look 2 different ways for this one. Basically, I did one look, wasn't happy with it, and did another. Then when I was editing my photos I realized that I really liked the original look, so I decided to include both in one post as they are essentially the same with minor differences. Keep in mind that all of these colors are from my palette, so I'm not going to be going through and naming all my products. I'm just going to be naming colors as I go along. I did use Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! for my mascara in both looks.
For this look I used a gold eyeshadow on the inner corner of my eye lid, a light shimmery green eyeshadow over the rest of the lid, and a darker green shimmer eyeshadow in the outer corner and through half the crease, blending it into the lighter green, I added a matte white eyeshadow to the brow bone, and used a shimmer white eyeshadow topcoat on top of the matte white and a small spot on the inner eye. I used a cobalt blue cream eyeliner and did a slight wing at the end. I used a gold cream liner along the lower lash line up to the tip of the wing from the cobalt liner. I used a black cream liner on my water line and finished with mascara. This look uses the same steps as the first look except I took a dark blue/green shadow and pulled it through the crease and outer corner rather heavy and I used a black cream liner for a thicker, more dramatic wing on the upper lash line.
I hope you enjoyed these looks, the more I look at the pictures the more I prefer the first. Make sure to drop a comment below and let me know which of the looks you prefer! And if you like what you see, you should subscribe or check out KalamityJane on Facebook. I post extra pictures and updates there, as well as some blooper shots. Til next time!
Nice as always! For myself I would choose the first look :) I like your idea with gold cream liner. Can you tell the secret - what brand is it?
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you, as always. :) And the brand is Sephora Collection. I don't know if it's available near you though. I'm not sure exactly what country you're from (and it's really late so I'm not going to blog stalk you right now to find out, though I think it's Lithuania) but I know I've had comments from girls in the UK who were bummed they couldn't get Sephora Collection products.
DeleteHave a lovely weekend!

Yes, I'm from Lithuania :) Yes, I think Sephora products are not available directly, but maybe ebay sellers may have them.
DeleteI'm pretty sure you could probably find Sephora products on ebay, though you do have to watch out for knock off products. Or you could get involved with an international beauty swap. I think the beauty swaps are awesome, and they're more trust worthy than ebay.
DeleteI'm glad my late night memory didn't fail me. I would have been so embarrassed if I got your country wrong. :)
Good luck finding the Sephora liner. If you're going to get it on ebay I would recommend getting one of their palettes. The liner I used was from their 2012 holiday palette.
Love the whole look. I want that gold cream eyeliner you've used on the lower line.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! And the gold cream liner was from the 2012 Sephora Collection Color Daze Blockbuster makeup palette, though I'm sure you could find it in a single on Sephora's website or ebay.
DeleteThanks so much for following my blog.. So I've been looking through yours and you are superrr talented.. I'm loving all your eye makeup tutorials.. Unfortunately, I SUCK at that..
